I was kind of sceptic about twitter. But when i started using it just before WWDC my opinion did completely change. It is really great about getting interesting information quickly if you follow the right people. I am very happy to announce, that i am flying to WWDC in San Francisco starting in two weeks! I am first time visitor there, but i am pretty confident that it is going to be huge! Learning all the new cool stuff about iPhone OS 3.0 plus meeting some very cool people... And having a weekend afterwards in San Francisco is also great thing. See ya there;-) |

Hello everybody! I would like to share some latest news with you. Some exciting events happened in the last weeks. Billionth app was downloaded from the AppStore which is quite impressive. These days Measures icon was (even if barely) visible on the Apple's front page. You can see the screenshot in Kevin Anderssen's blog. Then, last weekend i just walked by newspaper shop and noticed a magazine called AppStore BIBEL (German) which happened to be a special issue of MacLife presenting 333 best iPhone apps... And what a surprise, Measures was opening "Utilities" section earning 4 stards and predicate "terrific"!!! I immediately bought two issues of the magazine:-) And last but not least Measures 1.2.7 featuring categories search HUD is waiting for approval as well as lite version of Measures which would help to evaluate the app without getting a paid version. |

As many of you know, AppStore is reaching a billion of downloads in the next days which is pretty amazing. And if you click the count down banner you'll be presented two lists with top paid and free apps sold during last months. And in German AppStore on the 6th position is Measures! It was a very pleasant surprise on the Easter-Weekend! So, go grab it to participate in the Apple's contest to possibly win a top-notch equiped MacBook Pro, an iPod Touch and some other great gifts.
